Since February 2023, I have been one of the founding members of Raft's ABMS CBC2 team. I have been involved in a wide variety of work, including system architecture, hands-on implementation, performance profiling/optimization, and internal/external system demonstrations.I have been part of Raft's Data Platform team since 2021, where I have developed a wide array of functionality on a modular, Kubernetes-based platform. Along with leading small, customer-focused, technical teams and developing novel functionality, I have had a key role in demonstrating the system to a variety of external stakeholders and prospective users, including at the USAF C-level.

I work at the intersection of big data and Kubernetes, pairing high-throughput data streaming solutions with scalable deployments in the cloud. Most of my work is done in Go and Kubernetes/Helm YAML.

I worked on scalable ML pipeline infrastructure, primarily using Scala, Go, and Kubernetes/Helm YAML. I worked specifically on improving performance, reliability, and usability for multiple deployment environments.

I worked with the UVA Hydroinformatics Group on two main projects. The first was to help develop the website Hydroshare.org, an online repository for hydrological models. The second was to work with the software team to develop PySUMMA, a Python framework that allows users to run the SUMMA hydrological modeling tool, which was originally written in Fortran.

I worked with the software team to write and test bug fixes to software written in C++ that were later part of product releases. In addition, I wrote Python GUI tools to make building software components more streamlined for the team. I also helped to define a validation testing framework that would be relatively straightforward for the team to implement, and updated it once it was in use by the team.

I worked with the Enterprise Java team to help develop Java database applications. In addition, I wrote a Python dataset manipulator that could parse different datasets, and wrote basic statistical tests that could be performed.
