I build tools and infrastructure to turbocharge developers building the latest AR/VR experiences in Meta's Reality Labs.As a TPM on the Developer Infrastructure team, I am focused on improving the Windows developer toolset for our engineers developing in VR.

- Led a cross-organization team of engineers, designers and PMs in building a new design system to unify Meta's productivity products.- Prototyped the adoption of Avatars on non-VR surfaces and through various work-centric products. - Shipped a number of enhancements to the Portal TV & Portal Touch product lines which enabled better usability and system stability.

- Led a company-wide effort to standardized how the most critical privacy work is federated throughout all orgs, and built tooling to scale, automate, and track the work being completed. I enabled the company to meet our regulatory commitments and strengthen product privacy by remediating various product and infrastructure deficits. I built and maintained relationship with executives, legal, policy and engineering/product teams across all of Facebook's family of products, services and infrastructure. - Led a team building frameworks and automation to support the ongoing verification of privacy safeguards and evidence throughout Meta.

I led a team of engineers in building platform infrastructure and tools to facilitate onboarding customers onto Uber's various products (ie. Driver, Uber Eats, Uber Freight). I also led the modernization of our incentives platform, responsible for paying out guarantees and referral bonuses. My team provided a variety of libraries, APIs, Configuration Tools, Monitoring & Alerting services that ensure we could optimize spend and acquire customers efficiently. My primary responsibilities included roadmap prioritization, stakeholder management, and SCRUM management.

I built tools and services to help our teams make informed product decisions based on direct customer feedback.- Built the in-app feedback feature within the Uber Driver app which collects customer feedback, informs our product decision making process, and reduced support costs.- Implemented and supported in-app user surveying across all Uber apps by leading a team of Engineers, PMMs, Analysts and Designers.- Synthesized and provided insights and analytics to product and city teams based on customer feedback received through surveying and the in-app feedback node.

I built internal tools at Uber to enable employee productivity and support the company’s global growth.- Built a chat solution for all Uber employees globally based on the open source Slack alternative, Mattermost. Annual savings of $10M, supports over 20k DAU in a single HIPPA-compliant environment and serves 1M+ messages daily. - Built a number of internal tools such as employee profiles, onboarding automation, chat, and enterprise search to enable and save $60M in employee productivity.- Managed a team of product managers, business analysts, engineers and designers in building various tools to optimize Uber's workforce. Defined roadmaps and managed cross-functional stakeholders- Supported $4M of critical enterprise applications including Everbridge (emergency mass notifications), FM:Interact (Computer Aided Facilities Management System), S2 (badging), LucidWorks Fusion (Enterprise Search).- Implemented a number of vendor technology solutions to establish Uber's GSOC (Global Security Operations Center), enabling the capability to disable surge pricing during a crisis scenario. - Supported internal tools and vendor solutions for Uber's Chinese entity

I built internal tools that helped Facebook employees get their job done. I bridged the gap between engineers and non-technical users to build new tools, streamline processes and create awesome 'unique-to-Facebook' technologies.- Built a number of globally deployed internal tools including a Task management system, Mobile Internal Tools app, Internal Search, Visitor System, digital campus maps "Wayfinders", Conference Room Reservation System "Room Tools", and tools to manage event coordination, meeting scheduling, and parking lot capacity, leading to overall productivity savings over $100M+.- Managed a $1.5M annual technology budget supporting Facebook’s global Facilities teams.- Responsible for supporting all Facilities-related technologies by identifying needs, leading build vs buy analysis, and performing vendor evaluation and management.- Implemented a number of third party solutions and streamlined various business processes.- Integrated motion sensors with Exchange to detect unattended meetings and free over 400hours/week of meeting room inventory.- Built Tableau and SQL dashboards, enabling non-technical teams to make data-driven decisions about their operations.

I was the Product Manager for an HTML5/Flash video player called the JW Player. This popular video player can be seen on hundreds of thousands of website all around the world.- Shipped three releases of the JW Player, resulting in an additional 200M monthly streams through the video player, and expanded support for video advertising standards such as VAST and IMA - Owned and prioritized the product backlog based on customer feedback, business development needs, industry trends and daily SCRUM meeting outcomes- Responsible for writing all user stories, technical specifications, documentation, and wireframes- Initiated a strategy to optimize the player’s user experience on Android and iOS devices

I helped create mobile apps and websites for magazines such as People, Time and Sports Illustrated.- Leverage analytics, best practices, industry trends, customer feedback, and application usage to develop business case, requirements and wireframes for new products- Oversee and redesigned Time’s internal push notification service for iOS and Android apps- Designed an HTML5/SQL application giving editorial staff the ability to maintain and collect information on other companies for the purpose of curating the Fortune 500 list- Led the evaluation and deployment of PingFederate, an enterprise Single Sign-on (SSO) platform- Designed and built a disaster recovery portal via WordPress; optimized support for mobile devices- Devised a strategy for the CIO to establish an ideation and collaboration platform, consolidate technology spending on existing platforms, and modernize communication tools- Evaluated a shared services deployment of Microsoft SharePoint with other Time Warner divisions

- Developed C++ applications to expand Fidelity’s trading platform to 12 foreign markets- Analyzed incoming pricing feeds on over 15k securities from third parties; wrote SQL to verify price discrepancies occurred in less than 2% of securities- Created UML diagrams and technical specifications for a Flex-based application to help traders manage orders; eliminated need for manual trade cancelation through mainframe terminal - Led 4 Software Engineers and 2 Systems Analysts; delivered a Drupal CMS volunteer portal for a non-profit organization in Boston (Peace First); eliminated a paper-based recruitment process- Evangelized agile development; established IBM's Rational Team Concert as our SCM and artifact tracking tool.Prior to becoming a Software Engineer, I participated in the inaugural LEAP IT development program as a Systems Analyst. During this program, I received formal training on how to be a more effective analyst.

- Managed a team of 30 student leaders and represented over 16K students to university leadership at the 13th largest private university in the nation- Oversaw a $250K budget and the distribution of $1.5M to student groups- Coordinated the planning of a $12M renovation of the Student Union- Established a strategic plan for Student Government, and expanded representation to student athletes and graduate students- Hosted Steve Wozniak, Bill Nye and Marlee Matlin as part of an honorary speaker series
