Edward is a seasoned communications strategist with over 17 years of experience in developing and implementing impactful communications strategies in political advocacy, public policy, and global health. He specializes in leading digital campaigns that harness the power of storytelling to inspire action and drive meaningful change.Currently, Edward works in government, leveraging his expertise to create strategic communications that amplify civic engagement and connect communities with public resources. Previously, he served as Chief Communications Officer at SPUR, where he developed the organization’s first comprehensive communications strategy, built a team of eight, and led campaigns to address critical urban issues, including housing, transit, food equity, and climate resilience.Edward’s career has spanned pivotal roles in renowned organizations, including Bread for the World, United Nations Foundation, the White House Office of Public Engagement, and the U.S. Department of Education. At the White House, as Associate Director of Public Engagement, he bridged the federal government with communities to elevate dialogue and increase access around key policy areas such as immigration, education, and healthcare reform.Edward is a Harvard University graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Government and holds a Master’s degree in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary.
