Works closely with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and content creators when evaluating websites and applications for accessibility, guiding accessible design and development, and assisting with the remediation of accessibility issues. Transfer of knowledge in relation to WCAG 2.1 guidelines, issues and best practices.Accomplishments- Provided comprehensive accessibility audits of websites for companies such as Adeam and Tarte Cosmetics. A combination of automated and manual testing was used to provide a complete audit report. - Involved in the remediation of several websites such as Martin County Florida and South Florida Water Management District for accessibility issues. - Session speaker at All Things Open 2019. Provided a quick understanding of the WCAG 2.1 guidelines and what it means for an organization looking into auditing/remediating their website/application.- Trainer at DrupalGovCon 2019. Provided a half-day training session on the top accessibility issues and how to remediate any errors.- Contributor to the company blog. Published several articles on accessibility issues with websites and applications, as well as other digital media. - Lead the transformation of the audit process. Worked for the district and several colleges in different capacities. Responsibilities ranged from overseeing print, web and environmental design, research and integration of new technologies, data, analytics and code review, process documentation, and technology training. Currently, provide expertise in UX/UI strategies and accessibility issues.Accomplishments- Involved in the development of the Course and Class Search application which is a critical student and faculty tool. The goal is a fully responsive application with a robust search feature that will pass A and AA accessibility standards.- Involved with the launch of the Maricopa Community Colleges website and Streamline Admissions application with a goal of student recruitment and usability. The website is now a more robust marketing tool while the application reduced approval times from several days to several minutes.- Lead the design and development of a new website for Maricopa Corporate College which included an integrated class system with external web services. Branding and user experience were consolidated to one website which increased user visits and retention.- Lead the design and development of a new website platform and templates for Gateway Community College and two of its divisions. The college website was first in the district to launch a fully responsive website hosted on cloud servers. Within a year, mobile traffic increase by 35% while website uptime increased to 99.98% - Lead the development of a new branding standard for Gateway Community College including personally redesigning the new Gateway logo.

Design marketing materials for the City of Mesa and their various departments. Projects range from logos and brochures, to posters, presentations and signage. Recent departments include: Department of Transportation, Mesa Public Library, Arizona Museum of Natural History, Parks and Recreation and Mesa Arts Center.Accomplishments- Created key, lobbying brochure that was used for retaining the Chicago Cubs.- Designed and developed the 2012 Mesa Bicycle Plan book.

Developed and presented online training for CA Clarity PPM, a project/portfolio management software. Revised existing training material to compliment the new web-based training program.

Designed and managed projects from concept to installation using strict client and legal requirements. Worked closely with vendors and production departments to maintain budgets and deadlines. Assisted in the production, inspection and installation of completed work. Projects included space planning, environmental graphics and signage, illustrations, logos and marketing material for clients such as Meritage Homes, Monterey Homes, Ryland Homes and K. Hovnanian Homes.Accomplishments- Created graphic and environmental standards for Meritage Homes sales offices.- Developed numerous architectural and manufacturing processes for environmental displays and signage that became standard building components.

Worked with a team of designers on multiple projects with emphasis on sales office design and large scale tradeshow exhibits. Developed environmental displays and graphics, illustrations, printed collateral, logos and marketing material. Coordinated with vendors, in-house production and third party designers to bring long-term projects to fruition for clients such as Marriott, MicroAge, Four Seasons and Sulzer.Accomplishments- Design and development of permanent exhibits for the Arizona Historical Society.- Developed a computer process to create graphic and illustrative maps that reduced development time by more than half versus traditional illustrations.
