Sr. Facilities Manager for 42 (mostly) leased office space and sole tenant properties for LAUSD totaling approximately 1.3 million square feet. Duties included detail property inspections and profiles, weekly update of work repair tracking software and landlord issues, prepared scope of work for outsourced work, prepare various types of LAUSD document packages to retain funds and approvals to facilitate work repairs and cure deficiencies, audit and reconcile landlord charges as a tenant. Research code related issues, process related invoices in accordance with LAUSD policy. Successfully recovered $35,000 owed from high rise landlord. Aug. 2009 – Dec. 2009. Facilities Manager to approx 450 LAUSD employees occupying 6 floors (117,111 sq. ft.) of leased space in a high-rise building. Duties included day to day services, processing landlord invoices and acted as a liaison for LAUSD corporate to relocate all employees to LAUSD headquarters. Researched all related governing codes and standards for new contract type that was added to the LAUSD specification libraryJune 2008 – Mar. 2009. Purchasing & Contracts Manager: Developed scope of work to outsource services, performed job walks, bid analysis and award notification resulting in several new annual Purchase Orders (contracts) for services not previously outsourced, Formatted a new financial report consolidating financial data from several independent reports for a true reforecast, and audited parking garage operation and financial data. -

In conjunction with engineers, completed large projects including asbestos abatement, waterproofing, code upgrades, fire panel replacements, chiller replacement and temporary power restoration due to a failed section of buss duct.
