- Plan and oversee the administration of designated Club programs and activities that support Youth development outcomes - Oversee day-to-day program activities in accordance with established standards and goals- Implement, develop and evaluate programs for the Club- Allocate and monitor work assigned to program volunteers/staff; provide ongoing feedback and- regular appraisal. - Identify and support training for the development opportunities for assigned volunteers and staff- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of staff or volunteers- Assist in the marketing of the Boys and Girls Club to increase the visibility of the club and club programs (in person, social media, media releases, etc.)- Oversee or assist in special events/programs (Keystone, Youth of the Year, awards programs, conferences, etc.- Write evaluations, one on one meetings with staff in regards to areas of strength and opportunities of growth or development- Same responsibilities as a teen counselor as well

- Create flyers, market, and promote to implement programs; Monitor program performance, recommend and implement modifications for program effectiveness.- Assists in pursuing additional resources for programs (sponsorship letter, donations, etc.)- Coordinate facility use (programs, rentals, sports, aquatics, youth program, etc.)- Train, oversee and evaluate recreation assistants- Assist supervisor (Budget, training, maintaining and monitoring the facility, reports, etc.)- Implement policies and procedures- Assist in evaluating the needs for the facility, request for items or equipment through the budget process - Plan, design and coordinate the production of marketing tools (such as brochures, flyers, social media, city marketing tools, local communities, etc.)- Monitor the facility (Front Desk, Gym, Weight room, classrooms, etc.)- Receive daily facility transactions, set-up rentals (wedding receptions, family reunions, birthdays, etc.), register customers to programs and memberships- Set-up for special events at the recreation center (Back-to-School Block Party, Halloween Spooktacular, Summer Camp Talent Show, basketball tournaments, local events, etc.)- Conduct a variety of programs (A.M. Fitness, Circuits in the City, Ship into Shape, All Sports Training Regiment, youth summer sports and teenagers)- Assist in all departments within the facility (facility, youth program and aquatics), assist in facility use for programs and events- Regular inspections of the facility, routine facility maintenance and proper storage- Always “First in Service” attitude for job tasks and customer service
