Organize sound clip choices, guests and callers for the talk radio shows. Competitions, timings and overall show content to include board operations and phone screening. Essential Functions:• Assure compliance with FCC regulations for non-profit broadcasting stations to preserve the station licenses and continued operation. Act as chief operator of the facility and maintain records of station programming, operations, EAS tests, transmitter logs, operator licenses and related records.• Provide personal training and development in radio operations. This includes recruiting and training operators in technical skills such as control room operation, broadcast techniques, automation programming, audio production and editing, and satellite uplink operations. In addition , operator performance review, enforcement and compliance to FCC regulations and appropriate broadcast content and discipline or termination if necessary.• Supervise Broadcast programming operations as outlined by the program director. Ensure FCC compliance as outlined by the Chief Engineer.• Survey equipment needs, research products, remain informed on technological developments in broadcast technology and changes in FCC law.
