The responsibilities consist of managing all daily operations and assuring quality transit services in accordance with New Jersey Transit contractual specification. The Operations Manager has full authority to make decisions and enforce policies during the General Managers absents. Duties include, but are not limited to the following; Safety Review service on a daily basis for productivity, efficiency and on time performance. Revenue Security Issues. Recruitment interviews and selection. Smart Drive Coaching Mystery Ride Program Work directly with NJT Scheduling & Planning department. Work directly with the Neptune “One Stop” Unemployment agency. Chairperson for the Accident Review Board. Supervisor Work Schedules, Vacation Performance evaluation of dispatchers, vehicle operators and road supervisors. Prepare operator assignment: Run cuts/Vacation bids and oversee daily revenue and pay hours. Operator Efficiency Ratio. Manage employee/customer issues. Grievance & Labor Issues. Accident Response. Site Security Ensuring that company safety rules are followed and supported regularly.
