Department Manager @ Dry Products

• The scope of this position encompasses supervising and training of employees engaged in the manufacture, filling and packaging of pharmaceutical and healthcare products in accordance with current Good Manufacturing.
• Performs the manufacture, filling and packaging of pharmaceutical and healthcare products assigned to the two sections of the department.
• Accomplishes the documentation and completion of protocols related to the manufacture and packaging of every batch of the product.
• Ensures availability of Manufacturing Order (MO) and Packaging Order (PO) prior to the manufacturing or packaging schedule.
• Ensures availability of weighed raw materials, manufactured bulk or intermediate products for further processing, imported bulk products, packaging materials, and production supplies to ensure continuous operation.
• Counterchecks the correctness of the materials issued by either Dispensing or Warehouse as to material names, material code, number and quantity against Manufacturing or Packaging Orders.

Reports directly to the Production Manager, the Assistant Production Manager is responsible for the assistance in planning, organizing, controlling and directing the daily activities of the section to ensure productivity at the lowest production cost in conformance to specification.

Under the direct supervision of the Manufacturing Manager, the Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring that correct systems, procedures and processes are being implemented in the line; evaluates or debugs equipment, new product, material, method and documents results; initiates plans to improve or upgrade line's quality performance thru setting up of.
