With a steadfast commitment to fostering spiritual growth and community impact, I have dedicated over two decades to the dynamic leadership of faith-based initiatives in Brooklyn, NY. Since the founding of Next Step Community Church in 2000, I've been blessed to play a key role behind its vision, serving as the primary communicator, casting a compelling vision, and overseeing multifaceted teams, including real estate, counseling, and ministry. Stepping up after a three-alarm fire, I spearheaded fundraising, construction, and the church's continuity, demonstrating resilience in the face of adversity.In 2018, I co-founded the New City Network, a platform for pastors nationwide. In this endeavor, I worked with modest funding, addressing operational and financial challenges while cultivating relationships within the industry. I aimed to support marginalized communities and address addiction through gospel-inspired initiatives.My educational background includes a Master's in Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, along with certifications from Redeemer City to City and the New York Leadership Center. My career has involved a strategic approach to team empowerment, SMART goal implementation, and bridging connections between secular programs and church communities. Over the years, I've played a part in transitioning inward-focused churches towards becoming more outward-focused communities, contributing to spiritual development and societal change humbly.Now, with a wealth of experience, I am eager to transition my skills into a broader context. My educational background, strategic approach to team empowerment, and commitment to fostering societal transformation position me well for roles in corporate or non-profit coaching, mentoring, and developing the next generation of impactful leaders. I am excited about the prospect of bringing my experiences to a new professional chapter where I can continue making a positive difference in the lives of individuals and communities.
