I am a full-time, Western Carolina University (WCU) student majoring in Computer Information Systems (CIS) with a minor in Visual Analytics for Decision Making. I am a highly motivated and responsible individual searching for a full-time summer 2024 internship, anywhere in the United States, preferably working in a Data Center on hardware and/or network engineering opportunities. I plan to leverage my solid computer knowledge gained via hands-on experience at an IT Network Engineering Academy called Central Academy of Technology & Arts (CATA). CATA is a four-year, STEM magnet high school where I was an IT Network Engineering student, as well as an IT Teacher's Assistant my Senior year. I have continued my network engineering knowledge at WCU where I will be starting my Junior year January 2024. In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors by camping, hiking, and mountain biking.
