As a backend developer, my role involves actively contributing to the creation of APIs and handling the consumption of Kafka messages using Spring Boot, along with working on non-relational databases.I am currently working on Kafka features, including consuming and producing messages to handle customer notifications. Additionally, I contribute to creating plugins and libraries to standardize our projects. Most of the projects I am involved in use Java 8 and 11, with a focus on microservices architecture.Recently, I participated in developing a feature that supports around eight million customer notifications per day, 300 transactions per second, where my role involved managing concurrency and handling different Kafka message types such as JSON, AVRO, and String messages.Part of my responsibilities are:● Developed Kafka consumers and producers to efficiently handle streaming data.● Configured Kafka consumer and producer settings for optimal performance and reliability.● Delivered Kafka-related code to production, ensuring smooth deployment and minimaldowntime.● Created and managed Git branches for various features and bug fixes.● Reviewed pull requests from team members to maintain code quality and consistency.● Updated and maintained JIRA tasks to reflect the current status of development activities.● Provided support to the team, troubleshooting issues and offering guidance on Kafka-relatedtopics.● Created Postman collections and environments to facilitate API testing and integration.

I was part of the development team where I created services using AWS Lambda with Python 3.9 and developed screens and functionalities using Flutter. The goal was to provide personal loans through a mobile app. The infrastructure was set up on AWS, utilizing various tools such as API Gateway, S3, Parameter Store, Secrets Manager, CloudFormation, and more.Over time, I assumed the role of technical leader, and my responsibilities include the following:● Manage development, QA, and production environments using Git Actions (CI/CD).● Review code through pull requests.● Create releases (Git) for new features.● Assist in various aspects of the Scrum methodology.● Support and assist the team.

I worked with TELCEL client, one of the largest mobile networks, supporting projects created with Spring MVC and Struts. Later, I was part of the IoT project, where we developed microservices to register all smartwatches, including Apple Watch. The main objective was to provide internet connectivity for these devices.Additionally, I had the opportunity to work with some SOAP services, but most of the services were REST APIs.

Eventually I was promoted to Technical Manager of the Real Estate Banking team.My responsibilities were to help the team of developers to make decisions to create functionalities and look for the best alternative for each requirement.

Banregio is a bank based in Monterrey, Mexico, where I started as a Senior Developer Analyst and was part of the corporate banking team.My responsibilities in that team included:● Providing support for existing applications in Spring mvc and spring boot● Creating new features● Analyzing requirements and creating proposalsThe main project for this team was the application used by bank executives when customers visited the branch. This application allowed executives to view all client information and provide credit or other support as needed.

I participated as a developer in a health-focused project, where we built the system from the ground up. This included creating screens, establishing connections with services, setting up the database, and generating reports.

My main task in this position was to generate reports using Apache POI and iReport, utilizing Spring MVC. The files were generated in various formats, including PDF, XLSX, and Word.

I was responsible for modeling the database for our company's point-of-sale system. I developed modules for user and product registration and created documentation, including data dictionaries and flow diagrams. The project was built using Laravel and a non-relational database. My role involved designing and implementing the backend architecture, setting up database connections, and defining data schemas.
