Edwin’s passion is martial arts (MA) he has been involved in M A 39 years experience has resulted in the rank of 7th Dan . Edwin founded his own unique style, Genjitsu http://www.genjitsu.info/ A modern Martial Arts system. He is recognised as one of the most experienced senior instructors & is a member on the board of control for technical excellence for the Nippon Dai Budo Kai international federation. He is an NVQ level 4 internal assessor mentoring 17 coaches in the UK. Working , through the Martial Arts association Edwin has completed the child protection programme & is qualified to teach children & vulnerable adults, he is a qualified Red Cross first aider and cleared by (CRB )criminal records bureau enhanced disclosure, vetting & barring. Edwin is an enthusiastic trainer, who enjoys learning new skills; He has an aptitude for teaching and is innovative in introducing new techniques to assist students to accomplish their aims and achieve the required standards, Edwin is ITTSAR registered with eleven years’ experience in mechanical handling equipment (MHE). He is authorised to train & access counter balance & reach truck FLT’S, scissors lifts & mobile elevated working platforms (MEWPS).Edwin is highly qualified & experienced across diverse sectors , being IOSH qualified he has been involved with risk assessments / safety inspections / auditing /generating corrective actions / problem solving /creating standard operating procedures ( SOPS ) & accident investigation. Through his teaching methods Edwin was sought by department Managers to guide operatives through the company’s working safety module, ensuring greater understanding & compliance of the company’s HSE policy & procedures.
