As a member of Product Development and Integration (PDI) worked with various Verizon organizations to ensure the successful deployment and monitoring of Verizon Internet Services Platform(VISP). Developed monitoring strategy, which allowed local teams to monitor VISP services such as TCP Optimization, Video Optimization, and Toll Free Data Service(TFDS). Created and managed a new process to lead the PDI effort leveraging the Verizon Waltham lab which led to more efficient and effective TCP Optimization profile development, resulting in Verizon’s continued market leadership for third party speed test (Root Metrics, Nielsen, JD Powers, etc.) and ultimately improving customer loyalty. The leveraged exist and new tools which allowed for the rapid deployment of Verizon home grown network solutions in Wireless distribution locations nationally.

Acted as a technical leader(Subject Matter Expert) in matters related to core duties. Advocate on the behalf of the regions in discussions with Network Planning, NNO, Network Implementation, and other HQ groups, as part of an Agile feed back loop. Led Network design, testing and implementation of 1x(CDMA) monitoring tool. Assigned to Tiger team to drive various vendor feature support to meet dates and achieve stated network goals. Identified Network monitoring gap to support VoLTE(4G) monitoring and troubleshooting. Saved more than $35M in capital and expense. Received numerous awards.

Part of team which supported budgetary($1.4B -$1.68B) and System Performance needs for 13 states. Planned/Budgeted/implemented Verizon Wireless MPLS network, Network to Network Interface(NNI), EVDO RNCs, LTE RAN, IP Multimedia subsystem(IMS), TCP and Video Optimization. Team lead in designing/implementing/training personal to monitor newly added network elements and solutions. Worked with national teams to make Verizon Wireless to maintain or win awards for network reliability and performance. Drove vendor to produce solutions in a timey manner which allowed Verizon Wireless to realize a $20M savings in capital and expense. Vetted vendors such as Cisco, Oracle, HP, NetApps, Juniper, Netscout, Tektronix, EXFO, and Fluke Networks.

Worked with Duke Energy’s modernization effort to implement a paperless solution Enterprise wide(Project Enable). Responsible for implementing and testing new/existing network elements adherence to customer service level agreement(SLA). Responsibilities include but not limited to review of the following applications/network elements: Maximo, ESRI ArcGIS, Cisco Nexus 7K, Cisco 3945, Cisco FEX, Cisco ArcNet, Netscaler/F5 load balancers, NSx6.2/ESXi/vCenter/vSphere and Palo Alto Firewalls. Supported deployment efforts to meet or exceed customer delivery dates. Utilized Agile, SCRUM, JIRA best practices to improve project results. Utilized Jenkins, Microsoft VISO Studios(VSTS), HP Load Runner, Packet Storm, and Splunk for application and network performance testing. Received team and individual awards for successful completion of the Enable project.
