Represented the Government in numerous mentions, pre-trial conferences, and trials where offenders who had contravened the various manpower legislations administered by the Ministry were successfully prosecuted in the State Court. Evaluated and analyzed evidence with the aim of determining the most appropriate enforcement action to be taken against the offender. Provided workable legal advice that led to the successful execution of enforcement operations such as the dismantling of syndicates which were involved in illegal labour importation. Collaborated with the policy and operations divisions in the Ministry to ensure the successful implementation of new initiatives such as the creation of a new Work Pass Integrated System, which sought to provide a new online experience for foreign domestic workers and employment agentsAdvise partner divisions in the Ministry on various prosecution and investigation related matters.
