Key deliverables include:- Providing manager-level leadership to the program risk monitoring and investigations team of 50+ staff across countries, including high potential staff hiring, professional development, and staff motivation.- Owning overall risk monitoring work plans, goals and KPIs, high-level fraud and violation investigations designs, and stakeholder engagement across countries, with 20+ projects in portfolio.Key outcomes so far:- Team set up and scaling in Liberia, Uganda, and Nigeria with at least 5 staff growing internally into manager level or higher roles in these countries.- Led in different high-level fraud investigations involving both staff and community perpetrators that led to prevented loss of an estimated $350,000 across different countries.- Facilitated the design, and subsequently supported in the delivery of in-country safeguarding training to staff and project implementation partners/stakeholders leading to an overall reduction in safeguarding violation cases across GiveDirectly programs.- Leveraging new technologies to increase team throughput, and mitigate fraud and adverse event risks, e.g. using historical internal audit(field risk) data to draw predictive fraud triangles.

With broader cross-country portfolio, provide a wide range of oversight of programs and field-based compliance oversight. This include serving as interim day to focal point for the global IA management within the various countries of oversight. The specific roles include cross links and coordination/collaboration between countries and programs through leadership of strategies implementation, review of implementation models and, coordination with programs including Call Center (formerly Ops), logistics and other teams of Share Services. Additionally, at field level, overseeing team’s management and wellbeing, standards IA checks, cases management including investigations and resolutions (this includes safeguarding responses). At the country program level, as Internal Audit Field Manager, I facilitate required recruitment and management support of the IA team routinely. The overall focus of my roles is keen around, but not limited to support of projects designs, implementation of projects deliverables, effective programs and peoples’ management. With the overarching roles, ensure routine monitoring, actioning and reporting risks to programs including harms to recipients, deriving mitigating measures and or preventive alternatives that tackle drivers and potential effects of harms to recipients, and our teams as well partners/donors. These further include building innovative and countering measures, detecting and investigating concerns/complaints relating to safeguarding. As the back-stopper to the Head of Project (HoP), my roles included Ensured effective coordination and implementation of the agriculture including food security and nutrition (group farmers, backyard gardening and system of rice intensification), WASH as well as productive infrastructure for community and schools water points, feed roads rehabilitation as well as cassava processing units, and markets rehabilitation activities and Women Empowerment. Lead on the management and implementation of all service contracts of both local and international implementing partners. Also, the role involves coordination with diverse partners of the consortia, local implementing partners with Welthungerhilfe and partnership as well capacity building for stakeholders (government, private sectors, etc.). The role further requires ensuring capacity assessment and support to development and implementation of capacity development plans of local civil society partners. This role requires the engagement with the MEAL team to ensure performance, quality and compliance standards are met, and project results are delivered.

Utilizing the strategic plan and policies, my role was to lead a team of Program/Project Leads, Finance/Administration and Field Teams; the Program Manager coordinates and manages the affairs of all projects and core activities of SCNL as the deputy of the Executive Director. Some of the key tasks include but not limited to: support to formulation of alternative livelihood programs( System of Rice Intensification/Lowland and vegetables, extension support to cocoa farmers through trainings, mentoring and access to improved variety of seedlings), enhancing/building partnerships building/enhancement with government line ministries and agencies including relevant INGOs and civil society organizations including communities, Facilitate the development and rollout of program strategies. Lead the formulation and maintenance of quality M & E systems, enhance quality control/management in budget spending and plans, and assesses staffs needs and support capacity building and mentoring initiatives for program staff from time to time. Other roles include: follow-up on administrative/human resources (e.g. income tax/social security, personnel management) as well as financial and procurement management and liaise with all partners of different projects to ensure the effective rollout of the respective projects over the life span of the implementation

Nimba & Grand Gedeh Counties

Oversaw the design, implementation including monitoring and evaluation of effective and successful protection program in the assigned locations. The tasks include protection monitoring/human rights support, child right and protection response and advocacies, information management and early warnings, cross-border/regional exchanges and in-country networking and collaboration. Additionally, oversaw the management of business/livelihood trainings and application of Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA) models. Co-Chaired with UNHCR the protection cluster working group.

Coordinated and managed the affairs of the CIDA funded grant in Liberia as well as ensuring networking across other countries (Benin, Mali, Ghana, and Rwanda). These include program management, partnerships building/enhancement, sustainability of programs and support with communities and local implementing partners and facilitated the development and rollout of program strategies. Other tasks included procurement management and bids tendering processes.

Oversaw implementation and management of all USAID's contracted project Global Development Alliances (GDAs) with USAID, built and strengthened linkages for linking Accelerated Learning Program Level Three graduates from basic education and business/life skills training into post-program options for workforce and livelihood placements (skills, jobs, apprenticeship, learning, etc). Contribute to development of workforce development strategy for alternative basic education system.

Oversaw activities around capacity enhancement, conflict mapping, facilitating community renewal strategies for violence/ conflict situations and issues. Support field activitiesof trainers/field staff from time and provide them technical support. Coordinate activities withcommunity support groups members based on community led action planning and implementation. Under the role of the Youth program unit, development, formulation of BCC/IEC strategies and tools, coordination, and supervision of all donor supported project activities at CAP. This includes further implementation of planned activities around youth sexual health, HIV, livelihoods and life skills and the achievement of key objectives against agreed indicators.

Also coordinated the interagency information management systems on child protection. Served as sub cluster lead on child protection in Northern Liberia. Additionally, formulated program policies, and establish and maintain quality systems for M & E purposes. Support and initiate capacity building and mentoring initiatives for program staff and communities in all IRC field sites and enhance quality control/management in budget spending and plans.
