Etimos Foundation is a network of organizations promoting sustainable business and financial inclusion to improve people’s lives and foster environment protection. www.etimos.orgMy role was to support the Switch Africa Green (SAG), Green to Grow project funded by the EU to help entrepreneurs in the Coffee, Dairy and Mango Value chain to develop business through a service of pre-investment technical assistance support. Specifically, I engaged 30 agro-entrepreneurs and supported each enterprise on the development and delivery of a fully completed business plan to the project, which also includes financial projections based on each enterprise individual financial records. Key Deliverables • Supported entrepreneurs’ business development efforts through preparation and enhancement of their business plans through technical support via online or physical mentorship sessions.• Ensured business plans contained clear and complete descriptions of Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) investments and the benefits of each SCP investment to the business.• Ensured business plans contained complete financial statements and financial projections.

SEFEA is an Italian based consultancy and technical assistance Organization in the social economy and ethical finance sectors. www.sefea.org)I was responsible for supporting Business Planning and Access to Finance Training and Mentorship to SAG project in partnership with KNCCI, E4Impact, Etimos Foundation, among others. The objective of the project was to contribute to reducing the environmental footprint of Kenyan Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in agribusiness while strengthening their ability to compete and trade in local and international markets. Key Deliverables • Represented the organization in the SAG Annual Regional Meeting at Speke Resort, Munyonyo, Kampala Uganda on 24th to 26th February 2020. I made a main panel session presentation on Policy Support for Green Business: Business Tax Policies and Labour Policies to support Green Business.• I authored and published the SAG training manuals on Business Planning and Access to Finance. • Trained over 90 MSMEs in the Mango, Coffee and Dairy Value chains in Kenya through face to face and online lessons on access to finance, types of financial instruments and business plan creation. • Coached top 30 MSMEs through one-to-one interaction to develop their business plan and pitching to potential investors and financiers.
