This has been a new and exciting experience diving into the world of Production and FMCG with many SKUs that need fulfilment in every production cycle at real time.

 Purchase and Procurement: - Ensure all purchases of the company are done in time to ensure seamless continuity of business at all times.  Oversee and ensure all import and related documentations are done in time to avoid delays in deliveries.  Optimizing company’s profitability through strategic partnerships and enhanced cordial relationships with vendors Provide advisory to internal users on Product and Service trends to make sure the company is at par with latest Technologies. Enforce the terms and conditions on LPOs, Contracts and review of SLA and KPI where necessary with the vendors. Cost Management: - Ensure the company gets the best deals in all purchases by purchase of best quality at best negotiated prices.  Spearheads inter Departments Collaboration and galvanize colleagues towards a common cohesive strategic direction in purchases. Provide weekly and monthly reports to management and revenue team on stocks to enhance quick decision making in purchase and sales respectively.

-Ensure all inventory issues for items sold at the Safaricom Shops are aligned in the system to make them easily available for sale. - Monitor and advise SCM team on stock availability to avoid stock outs and ensure timely replenishment.

In charge of Sourcing, terms negotiations with supplier & relationship maintenance with them, internal facilitation for purchasing, and delivery to clients.

In charge of request for quotations, evaluations, LPO, Tenders preparations, follow-up of orders with suppliers.

These was a voluntary that helped complement the Marketing staff of the University in their work. I was involved in planning and overseeing most of the marketing events that happened when i was in the team.
