Thirty years experience in logistic movements for Defence, providing Air & Surface Movements support within the Royal Air Force (RAF) heavy lift air transport fleet. I have gained a huge ammount of logistics experience in support of Defence humanitarian aid, disaster relief and Operations globaly. I acted as the in-country SPOC for U.K aid to Nepal during the earthquakes of 2015, reducing the military footprint on the ground and saving resources for the MoD by organising local air & surface transport, ground handling and customs at the best cost. I was awarded a comondation and sited in the Queens New Years Honors List for my achievments. I was fortunate enough to act as the RAF Liason Officer for Logistics in Eastern Canada for 2 years, where I reduced the ground handling, accomodation and surface transport cost for Defence and gained promotion. My recent emploment within Logistics Assurance allowed me to affect possitive change to trade training and assurace policy, reducing incidents and improving the proffesionalismn and knowledge of RAF logistics operators.
