Edwin Koster is the director of Max Value. Max Value provides interim management services, consultancy and training for a sustainable economy. Max Value worked with a large variety of organizations which include the United Nations, ASN Bank, Dutch Social Economic Council (SER), Tommy Hilfiger, Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), Karl Lagerfeld, Social Accountability International (SAI), International Finance Corporation (IFC), Solidaridad, Pré Consultants, Gucci Group, Rijkswaterstaat, C&A, INretail, Better Cotton Initiative, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chinese Ministry of Agriculture, Fairtrade International (FLO), Rijksvastgoedbedrijf, PIANOo and WWF. While working for Solidaridad and Made-By, Edwin managed projects on sustainable agriculture, clean production and labour rights in China, India and Africa. He represented Solidaridad in the Advisory Board of Social Accountability International in New York and the Stakeholder Board of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) in Brussels. Before working in the area of sustainability, Edwin worked as a buyer and buying manager of several fashion retailers. Edwin Koster was born in the Netherlands and lives in Amsterdam. He holds a Masters in Sociology for the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor degree in Textile Engineering and Business Administration from the Higher Technical College in Enschede. Specialties: Consultancy, training, project and interim management on Responsible Business Conduct and sustainable supply chain management.
