Hello, my name is Edwin Morales. I’ve always considered myself one of the few with the drive to get it done. Whether it may be work, school or even learning a new song on my guitar. If I say I’ll make it happen, it’ll happen cause that’s just how I strive to carry myself. Since the age of sixteen, where my journey began, I found myself intrigued with technology. That being my PlayStation 3 at the time up to my current custom build desktop. Most jobs I’ve taken have always required of me to use some form of computer & it has been a blessing to me. Under my past experience, I started off as a part-time Projectionist for my local movie theater. Learning to download/upload movies to each projector & having to a set movie schedules & even apply proper maintenance if needed, it was my calling. But I also had a drive for meeting new people, new customers every day was fun. I got to speak & listen to people from many Latin countries since it was a Spanish dominant theater. I was pulled further in. Over the years I would end up at Warehouse as a Machine Operator, T-Mobile as a Retail Rep, to my now current position a Shipping Team Lead. Each position gave me a lot of knowledge specifically about what’s capable with a computer, the goods and the bads. I’ve experienced what scams & hacking is first hand, how much is can impact those involved, whether personally or through work. With my love for technology & learning, I’ve decided to take it a step further & reapply into my local community college. I will be starting classes in Fall of 2024, working towards my Bachelors degree, Majoring in Cybersecurity.
