Customer Reliability Engineer
Current· Work on-site at a customer site within their rotating equipment group overseeing their mechanical seal population.· Work with customers to make and implement equipment recommendations utilizing programs such as FEA and CAD as well as best engineering practices. · Work independently as well as with customers to perform RCFA’s and use information gathered to make and implement both long-term and short-term recommendations to increase machinery reliability.· Work with engineers, mechanics, and operators to troubleshoot, install, and commission equipment, specifically pumps, in the field.· Aid in the customers mechanic shop as needed.· Includes performing duties such as rebuilding mechanical seals quickly on-site, implementing equipment modifications, verifying dimensional specifications, troubleshooting issues, or answering miscellaneous technical questions.· Manage stocking strategy at customer site.· Assist branch operations in repair process of mechanical seals.· Hold regular meetings both internally and externally on various topics with relevant stakeholders.· Assist in the development of new engineers, mechanics, and operators, both internally and externally with customers.· Assisted with first the piloting and then implementation and rollout of new software.
