In-charge of Agribusiness Section.Responsibilities.• Critical financial analysis of agrobusiness loan applications to approve and recommend them for respective approval authorities in line with the policy and procedures.• Carry out credit risk analysis capturing an accurate and complete state of borrower to minimize default risks.• Gather more current information about agricultural sector in line with lending opportunities of different regions, quarantine and update management on areas of less risk.• Adhere and monitor compliance to the service level agreements (SLA’s) between Agrobisiness and other departments, credit policies and procedures and regulatory reporting requirements as per FIA 2004 and other statutory laws.• Liaise with relationship managers who bring in business and guide them on how to structure and present agrobusiness applications for committee approval.• Monitor, analyze and control the loan portfolio in respect of inter alia, credit risk rating, concentrations, sectors, credit products and measuring exposure with associated stress testing taking into account prevailing and forecast economic conditions.• Encourage the identification of opportunities for process improvement and key country trends that would impact the credit risk function in line with the Banks growth strategy.• I identifying and proposing mitgants to possible risks that may arise from a loan advance.• Timely auctioning of daily, monthly, quarterly credit reports and agricultural insurance policies updates.

Monitoring & recoveryResponsibilities• Overseeing the loan portfolio, as well as recovering assets i.e. mortgages, business loans, salary loans, overdrafts, and letters of credit. • Constant follow-ups on payment promises, hand delivery of default notices, site visits • Cost of Income Ratio • Selling Culture: Sales leads (5 ale, loan >20M per month) • Customer Service: Courtesy visits to good clients, clients in arrears, complaint handling, and customer surveys. • Products & Product Ideas: Generate new product ideas • Risk Management & Compliance, keeping Non Performing Asset (NPA) in check, communicating to customers

•Provides account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments; cashing checks; issuing savings withdrawals; recording night and mail deposits; selling cashier's checks, traveler's checks, and series e bonds; answering questions in person or on telephone; referring to other bank services.•Records transactions by logging cashier's checks, traveler's checks, and other special services; preparing currency transaction reports.•Cross-sells bank products by answering inquiries; informing customers of new services and product promotions; ascertaining customers' needs; directing customers to a branch representative.•Completes special requests by closing accounts; taking orders for cheques; exchanging foreign currencies; providing special statements, copies, and referrals to relationship managers on the potential clients.•Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions; counting and packaging currency and coins; reconciling loan coupons and other transactions; turning in excess cash and mutilated currency to head teller; maintaining supply of cash and currency.•Complies with bank operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions; maintaining customer traffic surveys; auditing other tellers' currency; assisting in certification of proof.•Maintains customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential.•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
