Dr. Edwin graduated with the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. He holds the post-graduate qualification of the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine. He also obtained the Certificate of Men’s Health in 2019.During his time in government service, Dr. Edwin was based in Singapore General Hospital, National University Hospital, Changi General Hospital and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He has trained in various specialties including Orthopaedic Surgery, General Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery and Plastic Surgery.Dr. Edwin entered into the field of General Practice in 2016. While working for several private medical establishments, he realized there was a growing patient demand in the field of preventive care, of which he identified passionately with. This served as the inspiration to set up RMDY clinic.Dr. Edwin’s special interests are in the fields of Men’s Health, Women’s Health and Sexual Health. He cares for a wide spectrum of patients ranging from the young to the elderly, and working professionals. He firmly believes in the concept of holistic medicine – that every patient is a unique individual with his or her own specific needs. Of utmost importance to his practice is the process of working closely with his patients to help them select the treatment option that they feel is best for them.Dr. Edwin has been featured widely across various news and media outlets, such as Mediacorp Channel 8, Capital 95.8 FM, Money 89.3 FM, Today Online, Lianhe Zaobao, Shin Min Daily News, The Soothe and Expat Living.He is a member of the College of Family Physicians Singapore and the Society of Men’s Health Singapore. He is also accredited by the Aesthetic Dermatology Education Group and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.In his spare time, Dr. Edwin is an avid sportsman who loves scuba diving and golf. He also enjoys chilling out at home with his pet feline, Cooper.
