My current role as CI/Business Excellence Director is to lead the Lean Enterprise transformation efforts of the NA region. I have over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, mostly in Automotive. During this time, much of my focus has been on Continuous Improvement using my knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing in multinational companies, supplying parts for large OEMs.Before managing operations and being responsible for a plant, I found my true passion, "Lean Manufacturing"; Although I enjoy all aspects of operating a plant, I think my favorite professional phase is practicing Continuous Improvement. I love sharing knowledge by challenging myself in projects where I can be creative when changing paradigms; It is really rewarding when people truly appreciate waste elimination. This passion has helped me obtain the opportunity to be hired as a Lean Manager in the USA and thus continue to develop myself in different environments and cultures.So I consider myself a "Lean Practitioner" at my job and in many aspects of my personal life. The people who have reported to me, know me as a creative person who tends to think outside of the box, they know that I am open-minded and that they can trust me to solve any problem, at work and/or on a personal level. I believe, teamwork is essential, so I try not to impose my own ideas but to build on others; I like to support my decisions on consensual team agreements.I'm a dedicated person, quick decision maker, and strong change agent with a pretty good Problem-Solving mindset, also I'm a hands-on person, multitask, a good listener, and data-driven focused on the result. I believe I'm skilled at addressing conflict and I don't go around confrontation when necessary.I am a graduate of ITESM campus Monterrey as an Industrial and Systems Engineer; with a Master's Degree in High Management with a specialty in Finance at EBC.
