As the process lead ,I evaluate the processes to optimise production capability and review the technical environments to meet business needs. I also analyse manufacturing process gaps to address product defects issues and improve process capability indices to meet product line targets. I am responsible for developing a management system to ensure operation meets both internal and external parties quality requirement.I take the lead in managing cross functional teams in continuous improvement projects and assist in implementing process improvement projects. I play an important role in organisational development through development of on-the-job training and mentoring of team leaders .

 Installation and commissioning of quality department aligned facilities and machines. Develop Quality Operations Standardized work to reflect the current best practice. Teach and coach Standardized work in Quality Operations Organization to achieve consistent application. Drive Continuous Improvement in Standardized work by continuously looking for efficiency improvements and aligning the content to protect the Customer. Develop quality management systems that can assure consistency in product and process quality management. Achieve financial objectives by planning your Quality budget, scheduling expenditure, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions. Ensure that all the tools and equipment are in the operational state and are properly calibrated whenever required.  Ensure that the Alarm Escalation Process are being followed, defects are being documented and the reaction plan is being executed by Production Ensure that defects are being captured accurately and that the Plant Quality Metrics are been communicated daily to Plant Leadership.  Prepare the required Quality reports to assist the Organization to understand our Quality Performance and prioritize Problem Solving initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Take care of the people needs of your Team to ensure a highly-motivated Team with a common goal to help the Organization become a Lean World Class Manufacturer. Stand in for Quality Team Members when they are not available to fulfill their duties. Plays a vital role in production and quality team members Recruitment, Training, Coaching, and Appraisal. In -Charge of the health and Safety of the workshop and team members. Plays a cross-functional role by supporting the overall objectives of the Company, this might require us to work outside our own JD from time.

• Improving existing operations, incorporating new methods and processes. • Investigating operational problems affecting production and dealing with them in a systematic, methodical manner. • Planning the use of resources and scheduling activities in order to meet an objective• Responsible for efficient conversion of materials into quality products in liaison with quality control department by conducting several tests e.g. chemical Die penetrant test, X-ray test, magnetic test, UT as per design specifications and contract specifications.• Recommend changes in methods, equipment, systems, and organization, to assure that the objectives are met in the most cost-effective manner.• Works with the Production Manager and other supervisors in the implementation of improvement strategies that will help the line/area perform more effectively.• Manage associate/staffs’ relations, guide and direct the training, retraining, development, and motivation of associates.• Actively participates as a member of the Factory team in special projects and initiatives that deal with resolving problems and issues, using quality systems. • Analyzing simple structural members and designing the same with steel.• Reviewing, and interpreting all design drawings, dimensions, and calculation analysis. • Preparation of bills of materials as per drawing and tender specifications.• Interpreting drawings and making amendments to existing drawings to suit revised requirements.• Controls and monitors machine maintenance for efficient production.• Prepares daily, weekly progress reports on all projects progress.• Preparation of schedule of works for each task order in MS Project and track actual progress vs. plan.• In-charge of the safety of the workshop staffs and creation of a safe working environment.• Ensures proper coordination of the workshop with several departments; Quality Control Department, MRP department, Transport department, Security department.
