Service Crew – Underground InductedOlympic Dam is made up of underground and surface operations and operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal. The underground mine is made up of more than 450 kilometres of underground roads and tunnels. Ore mined underground is hauled by an automated train system to crushing, storage and ore hoisting facilities.Duties • Operating a wide range of tools and equipment including but not limited to Elevated Work Platforms Integrated Tool Carriers, LV’s and other hydraulically operated mobile machinery • Support the operation of the underground mining systems and processes in order to minimise down time • Working in a safe manner in order to achieve the production goals of the mine following all HSE policies and procedures and ensuring adherence to JHA’s. JSEAS, SWMS etc. • Support in the provision of preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and organising the timely repair of operating equipment • Action allocated tasks in line with current site environmental policies including the requirements to control, contain, clean-up and communicate all environmental spills with attention to oil and hydraulic leaks. • Involved in other duties as and when required including installing ventilation, maintenance & support of utilities, hanging secondary fans and pipes and assisting and supporting general mine services
