Responsible for ensuring the safe and responsible management of all the facilities. Develop and implementation of the TMS integrating with existing systems (ISO) to become compliant with international standards (MAC-ICMM-GISTM). Provide technical support and guidance regarding strategies to be aligned with BAPs and BATs for the Facilities management to the group, senior management, and international engineering consultants. Capex investment, dam buttress, dams expansion, design and construction of new deposits under GISTM Standard, closure. Planning and construction management, Capital Projects, Business development for growth, PMO, risk management, PFMA, DSI, DSR and others.

Constancia Mine, Peru

During Operations stage, Civil Works continue with international contractors and local communities. Site record was 20.2M man hour with no LTI in Construction Department. Responsible for construction of TMF until stage 8 with center line design, high 120m, length 2.5 km, Dam Safety Manager (RFFE). Construction with mine fleet and construction fleet, using lean construction for optimization. Develop, implementation and certificate of Tailings Management System according MAC-TSM achieving an “AA” level. Design and construction of a new Greenfield Project – Pampacancha, all facilities included, construction of many heavy civil works structures for susex, progressive closure and general site management.

The project includes an 90K plus ton/per day concentrator, mine development, all water management and tailings features, auxiliary infrastructure as well as community commitment projects. EPCM services by Ausenco and an owner alliance with Stracon were the prime contracting strategies for construction stage. Project Manager for construction stage of Heavy Civil Works ($420M), including 2 TMF Starter dams (earthworks, filters, liner, ponds, instrumentation), Dams for unsuitable materials, reservoirs, sediment ponds, haul roads, internal access, water management, contact and non-contact channels, rom pad, auxiliary facilities, workshop, fuel station, camps, offices, houses for community, community projects, concrete and earthworks for process plant, waste rock facilities, drainage systems, landfill, dumps areas, topsoil stockpile, permitting, quarries, aggregates and others.
