I am currently employed at Auto Lenders Berlin as a Full Time Parts Clerk. I started my career with Auto Lenders in early July where I was given the opportunity to do something I’ve never done before. As I trained for the position of parts clerk everything that was thought was almost foreign to me as it was all new. In less than 2 weeks when my training was completed I felt a sense of accomplishment. Learning a whole new system, learning the ins and outs of the automobile industry, this all just wanted me to be better and learn more of what it means to be a Parts Clerk. I’ve learned valuable skills such as multitasking as it is vital in my opinion to the job. Being able to juggle different tasks just felt as easy as riding a bike. I just wanted to take on more work. I also learned that I shouldn’t get stressed out over a mistake. I learn from my mistakes and try to improve myself but, being stressed will not help me overcome the mistakes made. My connection with Vendors was also a skill that made the job more fulfilling. Being able to support vendors and make great connections is my favorite part of the job. Meeting the people that support our work and being able to thank them and meet them is a great connection and I feel as if our vendors respect our shop and enjoy coming in because of the environment that I have got them accustomed to. Overall being a parts clerk has been the best job I’ve had and I want to continue to grow this skill and hopefully one day make a career out of it.

Went to Felician University and majored in English, and hopefully I will major in Psychology and or Philosophy after I am done with my English major. I love learning about things in depth and looking at the bigger picture of things which is why I'm interested in English and Philosophy because I love exploring and looking at things more in depth and thinking more critically.

I worked for four months for what I can say may be the most physically demanding job I’ve ever done. Every morning I would drive 30 minutes to get to work, clock in at 6:50 and load my truck with ice and do my normal routes which included Somers Point, Margate, And Wildwood all of which are in New Jersey. My regular route ended up being in Wildwood, the busiest stop in the company. My stops included Acmes, Wawas, and liquor stores. Each stop I would fill up the freezers with ice and count each bag and fill out an invoice of how many bags I sold and also the weight of each bag. I would get an invoice back from the place I delivered the ice too and also I would have to fill out on my own paper the amount of product sold, the invoice number, and how much the amount came out to.

I went to Mainland Regional High School as a Choice student meaning a student outside of the district. I went in my freshman year not knowing anyone. I was nervous but 2 months in I was friends with everyone. Everyone liked me and it was like going to college not knowing anyone and then meeting different people and becoming friends. From this experience I learned not to be shy and that talking with people is easy, and all it takes is a smile and friendly gestures. I am a good student with a 3.2 GPA planning on going to college right after I finish High School and hopefully major in English, and or Mechanical Engineering.

I started working here in the 8th grade, I am a reliable worker willing to work as many hours as needed, and always cover for people who need it. I have been there for 4 years and it is only a summer job. I am looking for a job during the fall season to learn more about working in other jobs.
