I started by approaching potential customers and establishing contacts within my network. I focused on successfully placing products and services in need of explanation in the creative, software and marketing sectors in direct sales.Deepening expertise:In one of my longest projects, I was responsible for managing an up-and-coming start-up for over a year. My main tasks included onboarding, customer support during use and upselling - mainly for medium-sized companies with global sales networks and contact persons in different time zones.Realignment:After a deliberate break during the Corona period, I decided to steer my experience in a new direction. Since then, I have been taking on strategic sales projects on a selective basis and concentrating on coaching and consulting. Especially in the areas of cold calling, sales strategy and employee onboarding, I share my expertise with freelancers and agency bosses who want to bring order to their sales processes.

I made it known to my network that I was actively looking for a short internship to bridge the time between the summer break of my university classes and the beginning of my internship at ernst&young in fall. I was able to get in touch with a local champion in Plauen producing illuminants.I was given sole responsibility to build a working sales strategy for a fairly new brand in the company group. The tasks included:- Research on several local regions on potential partners and making the first contact- Preparation and execution on presentation talking about the broad portfolio of products- Calculation of offer letters and negotiation of discounts based on quantityI really appreciated the trust in being able to work on my own strategy with a lot of space to bring in my own ideas. My internship with Vosla was my first proving ground to try myself at marketing&sales.

BDO is a global auditing company with a broad portfolio of services, summarized in audit&assurance, tax&legal and advisory. I was able to get in contact with the local partner of the office in Leipzig through an event hosted at the university of Leipzig. This allowed me to secure my first internship in the auditing industry.In my two months interning I was mainly brought along in the year-end audit of a local hospital. Among other things my tasks included:- audit of financial statements for the company group- audit of fixed assets- audit of a sample of receipts- audit of liabilities and receivables of the company groupThe broad list of tasks allowed me to gain a great insight into the job of an auditor. I made good use of my classes in accounting, german accounting law and IFRS.
