I had the incredible opportunity to job shadow professionals at Rockwell Automation, a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation. During my time there, I was introduced to PLC programming using ladder logic and was even tasked with developing a PLC cart controlled system for a small project. This hands-on experience allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, enhancing my understanding of the field.I was fortunate to learn from and shadow some of the best engineers in the industry, gaining insights into their day-to-day responsibilities. I observed the development of automation solutions firsthand and learned about the integration of control systems, software, and services to optimize manufacturing processes. This exposure to SCADA systems, HMIs, and other advanced technologies was truly enlightening.
