In this role I was accountable for the transformation and closure of a plant with 50 employees that was dedicated manufacturing of parts for light commercial vehicles In the 1st phase I restructured the organization and transferred 7 assembly cells (air, fuel and oil) to Dewsbury (UK), Casablanca (MA) and a local 3rd party supplier (TR). In the 2nd phase I transferred the warehouse activities to regional 3PL distribution center, outsourced assembly cells to a local 3rd party supplier, ceased activities and returned the building to the landlord. Key accomplishments:• Maintained revenue targets, key performance indicators, customer and vendor relations and report out to internal stakeholders;• Negotiated social plan with Turkish union representation;• Organized training for operators and administrative employees to transfer tribal knowledge.
