Coming from humble beginnings and immigrant parents, his mission goal is to bring implementation vehicles, proper investment thought leadership and portfolio management solutions historically only available to the Ultra High Net Worth to the everyday investor.As Head of Investment Platform at United Capital Financial Advisors, his responsibilities include investment solutions for clients, investment platform design, portfolio construction, due diligence and strategy maintenance & oversight.Previously, Edwin was the Head of Investment & Platform Strategy within the Portfolio Management Group for Workplace & Personal Wealth at Goldman Sachs (GS) Asset & Wealth Management in 2023. In this role, Edwin was charged with building an investment platform that represents the best of Goldman Sachs for clients within the mass affluent and high net worth space. From 2020 to 2022, Edwin served as a Portfolio Manager for the Personal Financial Management Portfolio Management Group within Goldman Sachs. Prior to that, he was a Financial Analyst in the GS Private Wealth Singapore from 2017 to 2020 and a Summer Analyst in Hong Kong in the summer of 2016.Edwin is also formerly the Co-COO of the GS Asset & Wealth Management Asian Professional Network NY/NJ chapter and part of the firmwide ARISE (Asians Reimagining Significance and Excellence) Council, a group created within Goldman Sachs to combat Anti-Asian Hate and to empower the Asian Investor. Edwin graduated from NYU Leonard N. Stern School of Business in Dec' 16 with a dual concentration in 1) Finance and 2) Management.
