About Edwin Wilcox
I was educated as a Chemical Engineer at RPI and Cornell. Obtained a MBA in night school while working for an Industrial Gas Company where I worked in the US. in Europe and in Asia. Left that company to become President of another Industrial Gas company which we subsequently sold. Introduced to a private firm that gave seminars to business owners based on the thesis that most of them did not have family successors and had not thought about their eventual need to face retirement. For a small fee we committed to write a prospectus on the company and commit to take them to market in the future when they were ready. Upon the sale of the company we would credit back their upfront fee against our Success Fee. When the private firms owners decided to retire they gave me a number of their clients so I continue to represent those clients in finding a buyer for their business.
