Over 40 years experience in materials technology (including Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, and Corrosion Control), process safety management, and risk analysis. RECENTLY: Fine tuning RBI programs for problem solving, auditing PSM programs, Managed and conducted hundreds of failure analysis/incident investigations, fitness for service projects and risk/safety assessments. Experienced in hazard identification and probability/consequence analysis, particularly as it relates to crisis and asset integrity management for the petroleum and chemical industries (both upstream and downstream) and the power industry. Equipment experience in nuclear power plants, chemical plants refineries, and pipelines. Asset integrity assurance has included pressure vessels, relief devices, and piping as we have applied risk-based technologies to address Materials selection for Refining and Metallurgical applications. Subsea experience has included management of the risk analysis for a $6 Billion dollar pipeline that was being developed for lay from Oman to India.Personal goal is to assist my clients in creation of a safer work place; through application of strategic and tactical risk managment planning and execution.Specialties: Recently specialized in implementing Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Mechanical Integrity (MI) and Flange Leak Reduction Programs.
