I am motivated by doing something that I can tell makes a difference for humankind. My great strengths as an organizational leader are in creating structures that promote both a quick launch and sustainable growth and in building relationships with people and organizations that expand what is possible. Throughout my career, I have excelled by pinpointing opportunities to fill a need and then bringing together the right stakeholders to deliver an innovative solution. I thrive on having the autonomy to develop a vision, make decisions, and have the vision become reality. The major themes in my professional life have been executive leadership, program development, and service learning, and I am passionate about building civic engagement among students and communities. Some of my favorite successes:🌟 Creating a multi-faceted center for a university that allows students to receive guidance and tools on what they want to do with their lives -- from community service to graduate school and employment.🌟 Starting an international nonprofit that provides access to education for children with disabilities in less developed countries.🌟 Co-directing a large conference that attracted educators from across the U.S. and abroad.My key skills:⭐ The ability to be a strategic thinker, create a vision, and execute a plan.⭐ Building and maintaining relationships.⭐ Presentation and public speaking.⭐ Forming connections between people and organizations.Outside of work, I thrive on community engagement and enjoy volunteering, travel, swimming, cycling and seeing a good movie.
