 Responsibilities as Process Manager: established process methods and parameters and trained appropriate production staff. Specified and solicited approvals for tools deemed necessary for production processes to meet production obligations. Assisted in managing production schedules by using input from all available sources (scheduling meetings, etc.); and coordinated work activities between the different departments of the production floor. Represented the company in all aspects related to process methods, tools, and materials to all involved parties, i.e. customers, vendors, suppliers, production staff etc. Established new process methods, procurement of equipment and helped in the transition of RoHS (lead free) processes. Position also required training and recertification of company employees for ESD, (electrostatic discharge).

 Responsibilities included customer support; installation and training of static control products and equipment, supported manufacturing and engineering in the production of current products and development of new innovative products. Responsible for training company distributors and representatives of operation and function of products and equipment and represented company at trade shows. Position also required extensive travel abroad and locally to current customers, as well as prospective new customers.

 Supported engineering for the manufacture of equipment used in the control of static electricity. Responsible for the repair and calibration of all manufactured equipment. Supervised production of single and double sided PCB’s using Gerber files, negatives, etchants, and drilling of finished boards. Component level troubleshooting of equipment using meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies and specialized equipment such as static field meters, static decay meter, floating / charge plate meter. Performed or managed the installation of static control systems throughout the world for such companies as IBM, AT&T (Lucent) and Motorola; many of these installations were done in Class 10 clean rooms. Assisted in the development of new equipment. Work also involved use of practical electronic theory as well as the ability to work from schematics, cad drawings, rough sketches, and verbal instructions. Customer service / technical support.
