I worked at NII Holding leading projects in all countries where Nextel has coverage. Some of the projects I have been involved in are the following:Led the Operation & Excellence project in Perú. My role in the project was to support the market in the transition of their engineering operations to Nokia Siemens. Led the Welcome SMS project in Perú, Chile and Mexico. My role was to coordinate all activities between the markets, the roaming provider and NII Holding.Support the NII roaming team leading the activities to interconnect Brazil and Chile markets to support voice and data roaming.Standardize the Project KPIs methodology for all Nextel markets. My role was to analyze and propose a new methodology of calculate the KPIs which measure the project deployment performance for Nextel Operational Partner (NSN).Support the Corporate WAN (CWAN) migration in the countries. My role was to support and coordinate all activities in all Nextel countries related with the WAN migration.

I worked in the generation of the Request for Providers (RFP) document for HP-PPT service for WCDMA technology.I participated in the RFP scoring sessions of the HP-PTT service for WCDMA technology.I participated in the Functional Requirement Document (FRDs) sessions for the 3G network.I have knowledge of Push to Talk, (OMA PoC, iDEN, Trunking, MPTT, QCHAT). I am working with NII in all the scope of the HPPTT deployment in Perú.I have knowledge of IP, SIP, RTP, RTCP protocols.I have knowledge of WCDMA with HSPA. I have knowledge of other RAN technologies (eg. Responsible of the supervision, control, maintenance and optimization of the iBSC System. Supervised the installation of our 4 iBSC Systems. The goal of this project was improved our coverage and rise our capacity to support 900,000 subscribers.Responsible of the Network Elements (iCP and iVPU) statistics analysis and backhaul optimization. This work let us optimize the bandwidth available resources to prevent the saturation and blocking.Worked with RF area to optimize the DLAs and ILAs distribution into the coverage to improve the traffic and control channels use.Responsible of the BITS support and maintenance. I supervised the BITS 55500 installation with Motorola.

In charge of the Tellabs 8100 Cross-Connect System supervision, operation and maintenance. The iDEN System use this equipment to optimize the backhaul resourcesSupervised the installation of 4 Tellabs A111 nodes in ICA and Lambayeque. This installation let Nextel the capacity to install 90 EBTS to form a interconnect highway in the Peruvian coast.Designed, developed and supervised the backup backbone installation at the Peruvian coast over SDH Technology.Supervised the installation of 2 Tellabs 8170 nodes to support 4 BSC (200,000 subscribers) and 180 EBTS.The network availability during that period was 99.9%.

In charge of the Microwave supervision which link the EBTS with the Mobile Switch Office (MSO).In charge of the supervision, operation and maintenance of the iDEN Network (eBSC, TDAP, DACs and OMC)Supervised the Tellabs installation. With my supervision we installed two nodes Tellabs 8170 (Cluster Node) to support 4 BSC (200,000 subscribers) and 180 EBTS.
