MAF is just completing investments from its fourth fund. MAF is volunteer-driven, has about 140+ members, meets monthly and seeks opportunities to invest in Michigan based, C-corporations, with or about to have revenue, but will likely not need or seek VC funding. MAF provides great networking, interesting deal-flow, the opportunity to invest along side MAF in a vetted, priced deals and a chance to make a nice return!

Implemented audit-quality financial reporting and internal controls. Developed business forecasting and cash flow model. Complied with state requirements for dealerships. Advised management on strategy, business plan development, contracts and employment law.

Angott Medical Products (AMP) is developing a medical device to screen for breast cancer. The device will use thermal imaging, ultrasound, and optical spectroscopy. The data is collected in a doctor's office with a mobile device that uses robots to position the sensors and software to analyze the results. In addition to handling the accounting, finances, LLC member records and taxes, I wrote business plans that won awards for $25k and $245k, negotiated contracts and wrote the application to the WSU Institutional Review Board (IRB) to permit human subject testing.
