Analytics Specialist for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean Strategic Business Unit, a region with an operation of 3,958 MW in electricity generation (Hydro, Natural Gas, Coal, Petcoke, Bunker, Diesel, Solar PV, Wind, Biogas, Battery Energy Storages Systems), two (2) LNG Regasification Terminals, 80 km of natural gas pipelines and five (5) electricity distribution businesses.Responsible to collect and analyze complex market and business data metrics to provide forward looking market insights and data analytics to drive educated decision making with the key objective to optimize variable margin to achieve overall business goals and meet shareholders expectations.Key activities:-Collect and analyze complex market and business data metrics to perform forecasting models incorporating Mark to Market valuations, Hedge Position Analysis and best modeling practices-Analysis of market fundamentals to identify risks and opportunities to be considered during the forecast process-Prepare market researches and analysis, operation studies, risk assessments and business modeling for educated decision-making-Managing the Middle Office function in the ETRM system, reviewing trades, loadshape curves and other transactions to ensure accurate capture asset and contracts valuations in the system-Provide valuation and modelling support to LNG, Power Commercial and BD, M&A DD, FP&A and Risk-Support Scenario Planning and Risk Management activities-Support the Variable Margin Annual Business Budget and prepare the corresponding budgetary analysis-Support Annual Expenses Budget for commercial-Support the design of commercial strategies for asset and transaction optimization across portfolio of Power and Fuels.
