About Edwin Herrera Alarcón
I would describe myself as a perseverant and hard-working person whose passion (and sometimes stubbornness) towards learning has given a very interesting Academic Path.🇪🇨 -> 🇲🇽 -> 🇮🇹 -> 🇺🇸 -> 🇮🇹 -> 🇬🇧My curiosity about understanding how systems work and trying to improve them has driven me to become a Robotics and Automation Engineer (M.Sc.) with a background in Mechatronics Engineering (B.Sc.). More recently, my strong interest (and personal belief) in robots and AI helping humans in daily life activities motivated me to do a Ph.D. in Autonomous Navigation for Aerial Platforms in GNSS-denied environments.Currently, I am broadening my research into Multi-robot Autonomous Systems as a Research Fellow 🔬.
