Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. Layout and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications. Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed. Responsible for maintenance and installation of all transmitter sites, as well as all studio wiring and installment of new broadcast equipment. Expert knowledge of Broadcast Electronics, Harris, Nautel, Nicom and Continental Transmitter Systems. Performed all aspects of installation on automation systems and complete studio rewiring. Performed installation and setup of remote control systems by Sine and Burke. Provided daily upkeep and maintenance of on-air computer systems and equipment. Evaluate all studios and operating systems to determine productivity and efficiency and recommend plans for improvement and growth. IT System Administrator for LAN and WAN with over 35 workstations.
