About Edwin J Bernard
I am the Executive Director of the HIV Justice Network (HJN), a global information and advocacy hub for individuals and organisations working to end the inappropriate use of the law to regulate and punish people living with HIV. HJN also leads the HIV JUSTICE WORLDWIDE coalition, working together to build a worldwide movement to end HIV criminalisation. See: http://www.hivjusticeworldwide.org/Formerly editor of NAM's flagship newsletter, HIV Treatment Update, I also worked for many years as a policy consultant on HIV-related issues that intersect public health and human rights where my focus was on HIV and the criminal law; Positive Health, Dignity and Prevention (formerly positive prevention); HIV prevention and treatment issues, including 'treatment as prevention' and PrEP; and sexual and reproductive health and rights.
