Development frameworks effective transport planning:- In line with strategic direction and insight into opportunities / threats materialize from starting points and goals for the content and organization of transport.- Identification of relevant information , such as appointments with clients , required / expected transport and transport movements , understanding the ( development of) transportation costs, etc..- Translating goals and insights from information gathered from relevant parameters and to apply standards to achieve an effective transport planning.- Initiate service/cost improvement initiatives as well as structural change initiatives.Achieving effective implementation of transport:- Ensuring the development of an effective operational planning by transportation planners and declaring frameworks , discuss problems , offer solutions , setting priorities , etc..- Ensuring the alignment of current business and (potential ) disruptions , both internally with commerce and offices , but also externally with customers , carriers , etc.- Manage the relationships and contractual agreements with road transport operators across the BeNeLux.- Ensure implementation of procedures to establish an harmonized professional approach to road transport topics. Purchasing and management resources:- Formulate assumptions regarding the purchase / leasing agents (Trucks) and the use of external service providers. (Subcontractor management)- Outsourcing subcontracting Benelux- Negotiation/drafting (purchasing) contracts- Giving substance to the management of resources , ensuring clear frameworks , to supervise the proper implementation of maintenance and services and the processing of claims.- Periodic and ad hoc consulting with external service , tuning and discuss current issues and dealing with problems and complaints.Operational negotiations within the Dynagroup, national and international and with Bpost partners as well regarding: routings, costs and fees

In this position I was responsible for; • Giving solicited and unsolicited advice to Operations regarding to the routing to be followed and time windows within which action must be taken in order to connect the national and international network.• Optimizing routings and schedules and its operational implementation.• Adjusting transport capacity related to changes in volumes.• Making arrangements about processes for the routing in the DHL network.• Operational negotiations within the DHL group, national and international and with DPWN partners as well regarding: routings, costs and fees

In this position I was together with 3 colleagues responsible for;• Control (60 drivers, warehouse personnel and loader-sorters)• Transportation of express shipments from the regional depots to the European sorting center in Brussels within a timeframe to connect the DHL Air- and Road Network.• Sorting and transportation of express shipments from the European sorting center in Brussels to the regional depots within a timeframe to for the earliest possible delivery cycle.• Subcontractor management• Physical handling of dutiable shipments.• Provision of network supplies both internally and externally. • Handling of return world mail.

In this position I was responsible for;• An expedition team (10 persons) in shifts.• Loading / unloading trucks and receiving goods. • For cargo-loading of own vehicles and equipment.• Routes (preparation for cargo charters)

• As a tractor trailer driver charged with supplying supermarkets (food, meat and vegetables) and picked up goods for its own distribution center.
