Growtech Holland den Heijer b.v. (GTH)Company GTH was active in East- and Central Europe selling turnkey-greenhouse projects, greenhouse-installations and agricultural equipment. During its active years GTH was a main player in the field of horticulture at the markets in Ukraine, Russian Federation, Belarus and Kazachstan. Branch-offices in Ukraine and Russian Federation did provide assistance in the field of aquisition and after-sales.Day-to-day work:- to discuss with banks and clients the conditions for a Letter of Credit or trade financing.- prepare all official documentation to recieve payments for deliveries executed under Letters of Credit.- managing process of exporting materials to build greenhouses, This process included the coordination with the client, local brokers and local customs offices and also arranging of all paperwork, means of transportation, materials available on-site in time.- to monitor on a regular basis: working order, availability of materials at the building site, weight distribution in the trucks/containers and efficient (economic) loading of trucks/containers.- organisation of visits of Dutch greenhouse construction specialists (to execute supervision duties during realisation of GTH greenhouse-complexes abroad).- to keep in contact with clients, suppliers, banks, credit insurance companies, government officials.- supervision and execution of work connected to financial accounting: working out sales invoices, booking of purchase and sales invoices, booking bank statements, booking cash spendings, to prepare and work out monthly VAT-declarations, cooperate with accountant to organize: yearly financial statements (balance sheet/profit loss account) required for tax office and trade register, corporation tax-declarations.

Bulneth b.v.About 20 years ago the activities of Bulneth did mainly include renovation of exisiting greenhouses (new boilerhouses and installation of hydroponics). After a number of years the focus did shift to building of new greenhouses. In most cases the clients could only receive financing for their new greenhouse-complex when they planned to realize a greenhouse-complex in 'turn-key'-style. Bulneth was mainly active in Ukraine and Russian Federation.At Bulneth I did start in the function of office manager. After 4 years at the company I was appointed as statutory director. In this function I had to manage the team of the Dutch office and also of the branche office in Ukraine.Export requires a lot of coordination, especially when construction of a project abroad is part of the activities. Transport companies, Dutch greenhouse-construction specialists, local building companies, local brokers, local customs, different departments within the organisation of client are among the parties you have to deal with when taking care of greenhouse-construction at a building site abroad.During a number of years company Bulneth was also involved in the marketing of the products coming from the constructed greenhouses, this in cooperation with Dutch trade houses active in trading of greenhouse-products.All of the equipment and materials which were exported were purchased with the main players in the Dutch greenhouse industry.
