Pekopekoeats started as a side project run by my partner and I which we used as a visual diary to capture and share what we love eating. The name "peko peko" is Japanese onomatopoeia commonly used to describe hunger and is also reflection of our upbringings being filled with plenty of Japanese culture. In late 2021, we launched a website which initially was a public means of improving my writing skills. The website aims to help readers spend less time deciding (on where to dine) and more time dining, through beautiful imagery and well laid out information.In running Pekopekoeats, I wear many different hats like content, marketing, growth, revenue, technology and everything else in between (except a chef's hat).I currently create longer form content for the website on a weekly basis, including a weekly email newsletter which consistently exceeds industry email open rates.- Working with restaurants / cafes / brands and to produce content- Freelance photography (Lightroom & Final Cut Pro)- 60% newsletter average open rate (industry average approx. 20%)www.pekopekoeats.com

- Australian Miner - Digital Orebody Platform - ran a number of Agile Scrum ceremonies, identified and implemented collaborative working solutions between stakeholders in different time zones, planned and facilitated workshops (virtual and F2F) and responsible for general project management.- Australian Miner – High Value Technology Opportunity Evaluation – evaluated, reviewed and shortlisted a list of technology initiatives identified in the miner’s pre- feasibility study and developed a mini business case for shortlisted initiatives for the miner to consider. The business case considered alignment to the miner’s company value creation metrics, technology readiness and fit-for-purpose within the miner’s context.- Western Australian University – Student Management Improvement – developed strong relationships with business owners and a cross functional team to gather and define the functional requirements of their future state Student Management System (user stories) and identified time saving process improvements where possible, supported the project management office by developing spreadsheets which consolidated over half a dozen spreadsheets into a single spreadsheet with resource planning and cost / scenario modelling.- Global Miner – Autonomous Haulage Review – co-led a review of a global miner's Autonomous Haulage System from a safety perspective across 9 areas which identified 21 safety improvement initiatives based off over 60+ interviews with 100+ business stakeholders, desktop review and data analysis (e.g. refuelling and test compliance)- Global Miner – SAP S/4HANA implementation – learned and gained familiarity with SAP S/4HANA ERP (Human Capital Management), SuccessFactors Employee Central) and HP ALM, developed functional specifications for 3rd party interfaces between S/4HANA and the miner’s proprietary systems, conducted functional unit testing and conducted analysis and reconciled over 200+ fields between S/4HANA and 3rd party systems.

- Global Professional Services Firm - Global Delivery Centre Establishmentsupported the Project Management Office which coordinated the establishment of a USD $10M Global Delivery Centre in Manila (Philippines) between 5 member firms, created board level presentations, maintained a 1000+ item Microsoft Project plan and supported the Change Management team in transitioning over 100 employees from the existing to new operating entity without any loss in headcount.- Government Entity - Website RedevelopmentDeveloped user journeys and conducted interviews to identify current state website pain points which supported website redevelopment- Global Manufacturing Company - IT Evaluation & Application Business Impact AssessmentConducted an extensive contract analysis of the client’s support contracts against their sister company, reviewed the client’s IT landscape and conducted an application business impact assessment identifying effects to the business in the result of an extended application outage (e.g. financial or legal / compliance implications).

My time at Nobu has shaped who I am as an individual. I learned a lot about customer service, how to read customers and groups, public speaking and teamwork.---Server at worldwide Japanese-Peruvian fine dining restaurant NOBU. In October 2016, NOBU Perth was ranked 4th on Tripadvisor's 'Best Fine Dining Restaurants' in all of Australia, with NOBU Perth being the only fine dining establishment from Western Australia to make the list. My first every job was working at my parent's restaurant. I worked as a waiter taking orders and clearing tables. It was here where I learned to "put my heart into my work".
