From the very first day I had my hands on a pair of glasses, in the early 90's, I have been passionate about eyewear. As an optician, I have worked my way up the market, from the lower end to the higher end. As a sales representative, agent and distributor of eyewear, I have been active at the European trade shows since the year 2000. I consider some of the leading designers and manufacturers as my friends. Mid 2013, my focus changed from distribution back to retail. I felt it was time fulfil my dream and create a one-of-a-kind optical boutique. YOU & EYE is the culmination of 23 years of experience, at both ends of the table, and the showcase of my passion for eyewear.YOU & EYE is a haven for the eyewear aficionado. Clientele varies from hipsters and art school students to lawyers and advertising professionals and (small) business owners.New brands are welcome to contact me for help in penetrating the Dutch market. I'm open for a consulting position. YOU & EYE can, on special occasions, be used as a showroom to present collections to opticians, consumers or press.When I don't live and breath eyewear, Latin music makes my heart beats faster.
