As a Life Coach I work with people in a pivotal position as they seek clarity moving forward in a life transition. Responsible for providing bilingual defendant parole services that include compliance of court orders, employment assistance, counseling, collection of fines and costs, drug screening, court petitions and level 1 and 2 hearings. Interaction with social workers related to mental health, children, youth and family, domestic relations, interstate compact, state parole, immigration and customs enforcement, county prison records, drug and alcohol, treatment facilities, district attorney and public defender’s office and private defense attorneys. Promoted to Adult Probation Officer in 1997 and then promoted to Adult Probation Specialist in 2000.

Responsible for supervising up to nine (9) residents who are highly functioning but mentally challenged in a group home inclusive of ensuring medication is being taken properly, maintaining prescription logs, medication refills, transportation to appointments, tracking their daily activities and whereabouts, interaction with parents, relatives and intensive case managers, handling medical emergencies, leading social activities and act as a liaison to the county probation department.
