Hello, my name is Edwin and welcome to my LinkedIn page. I recently complete my service with the Army as a Human Resources Specialist and would like to continue seeking a career in Human Resources. I intend on furthering my education in Human Resources by pursuing a Bachelors in HR. I have gained 2 years of experience as a Human Resource Specialist while serving and have become passionate in the field whilst dedicating myself to servicing every and any soldier that required our assistance. my first role while employed as a Brigade S1 clerk was awards. As the awards clerk my functions included tracking, reviewing, processing, and returning any awards sent to our section for further processing in addition to creating award certificates for awards approved be the Brigade Commander in a timely manner. In addition to processing awards I was required to give a weekly brief to the Brigade Sergeant Major and Commander on any active, completed or overdue awards. My second and favorite role was working as the Strength Management clerk for the Battalion S1. As the Strength Management clerk my tasks included coordinating with each of the four companies under our Battalion in order to track the duty statuses of all personnel in a battalion of over 400 soldiers whilst inputting that data in a personnel tracker created through the use of excel, once completed our personnel tracker is sent to Brigade in a timely manner. In addition to personnel tracking and data input I was required to have weekly syncs with each company
