Santman van Staaden Architect was a relative small architectural bureau. This gave me the opportunity to grow on all fields of expertise, needed for running a similar bureau.I began as a draftsman when I was 18 years old and ended as a project leader. In my last few years at this bureau I began at Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam, studying in the evenings. The academy advised me to ‘look into another kitchen’ as the Dutch call it. After more than 10 years, working for this bureau with gratitude, I switched job.
